Connor grew up in Los Angeles, California, and attended Santa Clara University, graduating cum laude with a degree in finance. While a student at Santa Clara, he worked in various roles across different industries. He began his professional career in client debt restructuring before transitioning to a junior analyst position at a merchant bank. As a junior analyst, he supported both buy-and sell-side transactions for the TMT team.

Before moving into investor relations, Connor worked as a tax associate at Andersen, where he provided advisory services to alternative investment funds and both public and private companies.
