From 10-Q to 10-S: Understanding the SEC’s Proposed Option for Semi-Annual Reporting

The SEC has proposed a significant change to the public company reporting framework, introducing a potential option for semiannual reporting in place of the traditional quarterly cycle. If adopted, this shift could meaningfully impact how and when companies communicate with investors, manage internal processes, and access the capital markets.

As management teams and investors evaluate the potential implications, important questions are emerging around transparency, reporting strategy, market expectations, and the broader tradeoffs between short-term visibility and long-term focus.

Please join Gilmartin’s Managing Director, Brian Johnston, for a webinar featuring Eddie Yoon, Healthcare Fund Manager at Fidelity Investments, and Raffael Fiumara, Counsel at Greenberg Traurig as we explore the SEC’s proposed reporting changes, including the introduction of Form 10-S and the potential transition away from quarterly reporting.
